Dean & Counselor orientation is designed to prepare the participants to work wtih children and youth in a camp setting; however, it is also applicable to other settings. During the weekend we will look at the following topics (others will be added):

How to relate/connect with children & youth
Working with at risk children & youth
The generations that we serve
The role of Dean's & Counselors during camp
Role-playing & troubleshooting issues that occur at camp
