A record crowd of 550 friends and supporters of Wesley Village Senior Living Community of Wilmore, KY, attended its 13th Annual Heroes, Saints and Legends Awards Banquet held at Lexington’s Embassy Suites on October 6, 2009.  Those honored for a lifetime of service to others included: Louisville Christian businessman, Mr. Robert L. Holloway; medical missionary and Wilmore physician, Dr. Phyllis D. Corbitt; and United Methodist pastor, Rev. Harold W. Dorsey, active in ministry for over 70 years. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. James C. Stratton.

All proceeds from the evening benefit Wesley Village’s “Celebrate the Difference!” campaign to build Kentucky’s first “small home” for long-term health and memory care. For more information on the homes, apartments, and services of Wesley Village, please call (859) 858-3865.
