AC 2009 Church History Request

Bring a copy of your local church history to Annual Conference

In order to make available a more complete history of The United Methodist Church in Kentucky, delegates are requested to bring and donate at least one copy of any book, booklet, or folders of the history of your church in the Kentucky Annual Conference to this year’s Annual Conference in Covington.

This request will enable your Commission on Archives and History to file your local church history in the archives at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. This will make local Methodist Church history more available to family historians, scholars, and students.

If you have a copy of a history of a church that is no longer in existence, a copy of that material would be welcome as well.

Delegates from Campbell, Kenton, Boone, Harrison, Fayette, and Jefferson Counties are requested to bring 2 copies of each church history.

Thank you for your assistance with this project of the Commission on Archives and History for the Kentucky Annual Conference.

Please bring your histories to the Archives and History Table in the Display Area at Annual Conference.
