Dr. Jim Fleming Leads Continuing Education Event
On Tuesday, February 9, Dr. Jim Fleming, Director of Biblical Resources Study Center in Jerusalem, led a one-day continuing education event at the Kentucky Annual Conference. This workshop took those in attendance on a journey that gave insight into the meaning the Passover meal would have had to Jesus and His disciples. Dr. Fleming presented a new perspective on history and archaeology so those in attendance could see more clearly all the nuances of the meal and understand better the God of the Exodus.
Lunch itself was a part of the lecture as Dr. Fleming assisted those attending the course through a biblical meal experience. The conference staff was also invited to be a part of the lunchtime lecture.
Dr. Jim Fleming is also the founder of the World of the Bible Archaeological Museum and Pilgrim Center at Ein Karem, Jerusalem. He has lived and worked in Israel since 1974. He has developed course of study in historical geography and biblical history, uniquely tying the studies with the biblical text and emphasizing the wedding of theological/faith relationships.
