Black History Celebration page1

On Saturday, February 27, the Louisville District hosted a Black History Month celebration.  Over four hundred people gathered at 4th Avenue UMC to worship the Lord.  The celebration was blessed to have both the Black Diamond Choir from the University of Louisville and the Gospel Ensemble from Kentucky State University to bring musical selections.  Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert White was the speaker for the day.
